CGI proxy

CGI proxy is an anonymous and secure way to surf the internet at home, work or school. A proxy Web application designed to the GGI specification may use any number of scripting languages. The first serious development of a CGI proxy started in around 2000 and was officially released in November, 2002 by James Marshall. PHP proxy and SSL proxy are also becoming popular on free sites.

Bypass web filters at school or work

Many schools, public institutions and places of work utilize firewalls and Web filters that block sites with "inappropriate" content. CGI proxy allows you to view these sites by fooling the filters. The sites browsed by using a proxy service cannot be traced because the filter picks up the IP address of the proxy site and not the blocked sites browsed through it.

Anonymous proxy

When you use CGI proxy, the script hides your computer's IP from the sites you visit. Only the IP address of the proxy site is detected. Start browsing on a proxy server to keep completely “anon."

Secure proxy

You browse with the highest security when you use CGI proxy. It removes all scripts, ActiveX controls, Java applets and other potentially dangerous code. You are protected from viruses, trojan horses and malicious scripts that are embedded in some Web pages. All images and text are displayed properly so there is no drawback to usability.

You can also manage cookies by using CGI proxy. All cookies may be reviewed and deleted at any time.
